Mrs. Ivy Ponder-Gay is originally from Miami, FL. She received her B.A. degree from Independence University and joined the University of Florida in 2014. She served as a senior clerk at the Institute for Child Health Policy and in 2016 was promoted to a Program Assistant. In 2017, she was hired as an Administrative Specialist 1 in the Department of Chemistry and we are excited to have Ms. Ponder-Gay in the African American Studies Program.
