African American Studies
Tamarra Jenkins joined African American Studies in the Fall of 2024. Tamarra has over fourteen years of service to the university. Previously, she was the Office Manager for the Samuel Proctor Oral History Program, where she won the 2016 University of Florida Superior Staff Accomplishment Award. As such, she oversees all the unit's HR, fiscal, and class scheduling.
She participates in the University’s Employee Education Program and enrolled ¾ time at Santa Fe College, pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Business Administration Management. All of Tamarra’s free time supports her children’s academic and athletic endeavors.
