AFA Instructor Rolda Darlington Receives O. Ruth McQuown Award
Rolda Darlington, a doctoral students in political science and the instructor for the Black Political Thought course has been awarded an O. Ruth McQuown Award. The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences gives this scholarship to students in the fields of Humanities (e.g., Classics, English, History, Philosophy, Religion, and Languages), Social Sciences (e.g., Anthropology, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology), Individual Interdisciplinary Studies (that include social sciences or humanities), and Women’s Studies. Rolda was selected because of her academic achievement as well as her service to the university and wider Gainesville communities. Congratulations Rolda!
